To provide a safe and supportive environment for children ages 6-­12 to guide them in their faith development and to provide a fun learning environment.

Position Description

As a Mission Team member you will have many important tasks to do:

  1. Meet directly with the children on a daily basis.
  2. Assist in teaching the lessons outlined in the curriculum.
  3. Lead small group discussions.
  4. Create a group environment that feels safe and respectful.
  5. Pray for the children on a daily basis.
  6. Build relationships with children and their parents or guardians.
  7. Keep in contact with the Mission Director.
  8. Be a role model for many young lives.

Skills Required

  1. Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  2. Enjoys working with children.
  3. Capable and willing to form relationships with children and parents alike.
  4. Optional: Has had some experience leading or being a member of a small group.
  5. Optional: Has teaching experience (in a formal or informal setting).
  6. Ability to confront and problem­-solve discipline problems as they arise.

Time Commitment

Approximately 3-­1/2 hours each weekday for one to two weeks. Actual time of day the program is conducted will be determined locally.


The Mission Director for the SuperKids Mission will provide supervision, training, and support.


The awesome opportunity to impact and possibly change the course of a child’s life. Present Biblical principles and Christian values. Meet and receive support from other Christians who have the same pas­sion for children as you do. Be trained in the use of an exciting, hands-­on curriculum.
