Annual Report Highlights Ministry Impact for 2010-11

2010-2011 Annual Report for Scripture Union USAScripture Union USA’s annual report for the fiscal year 2010-11 shows the many ways that SU’s ministry has had significant impact during the past year. The report is now available for download here.

Bible engagement—helping people read and live by God’s Word—is the core of SU’s mission.  The annual report illustrates how that mission was carried forward during the past year. For example, SU’s two adult Bible reading guides, Discovery and Encounter with God, were completely re-designed and updated to enable them to g row in outreach and impact.

Continued Growth and Impact

The report also describes the continued growth of the E100 Challenge, both in this country and around the world. And in countries which have taken the E100, the Essential Jesus Challenge is beginning to be used widely to introduce people to “the Bible’s greatest story, the story of Jesus”. There’s also a report on the new children’s E100, the Big Bible Challenge.

The past year was one of steadily growing impact for SU’s children’s Bible engagement programs, SuperKids and PrimeTime. That is conveyed by compelling pictures and stories of how these programs have changed the lives of the many children involved. This impact is underscored by the results of a survey conducted by the nationally respected Barna Group. The results of the survey are summarized in the report.

God’s Faithfulness Evident

God’s faithfulness is evident in many ways, and certainly in the financial summary contained in the report. This year, again, SU was blessed with a surplus. All that can be said is “Not to us, O Lord. not to us,  but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness”  (Psalm 115:1.)  You may download a copy of the 2010-11 Annual Report here or call 1-800-621-LAMP (5267) to receive a copy by mail.
